Ok, it cannot be classified as regular SF, but it falls under science-romance.  I mean come ON, this guy is forced to travel through time against his free will.  ’Quantum Leap’ anyone?  If that doesn’t place it somewhere in the sci-fi genre well… it does so there’s no point in arguing about it.
